Welcome to myBulova and thank you for adding your watch! It is a very nice example. These are very collectible so it would not surprise me if someone had it replated at some point. This is just personal preference and not a big deal imo.

Some of these were plated base metal, some stainless steel. This is pretty shiny for stainless, so it is possible it has been replated. I've also seen stainless models highly polished as well.
The case back will be stainless in all cases.
Is there any lume or lume residue on the numbers? It looks entirely un-lumed except for the hands. I've seen quite a few like this, the dials almost have the appearance of being unfinished.
