Thanks Geoff, We appreciate the appreciation Sir.
My Second Bulova resuscitation completed in 2006 and today still one of My favorite Watches.
A timeless classic design.
A beutifull watch, definately my style, simple yet dressy and classic lines...
Fifth did you get the pdf?
Very sweet... "Excellent?" if you will?! Haha...
I'm not normally a bracelet kind of guy, but here the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. I have the same model from 1958, but the bracelet was shot. Anyone finds another in good condition, let me know!
It is interesting that in 1959 this was a His Excellency and in 1960 they changed the name to the President. Thats Bulova screwing with our minds again! ;-)
That helps date your ad find Mark
1960 President was a 23 Jewel auto Greg.
Doug,
as Ticker mentioned in a prior post sometimes it takes a little work to get things 100% correct but admittidly this one was a sheer fluke.
The band came on a different Watch and I had no idea it was for the Excellency until I saw it on the Watch shown in the box. - Tha ad showing the Watch on the band came last.
Keep Your eyes open, there's one out there.
I did find one on 'Times of Plenty', but it was White gold, and he wants $175 for it! So, I'm keeping my eyes peeled and searching 'Kreisler' in the watchbands on Ebay every so often.
