The Glass is retained by a press fit bezel, Caseback is stamped as shown. Vintage dispaly ad is Dated 1957.

Yea I saw that, but didn't know if the inner minute track would necessarily hamper a tentative ID based on other factors.... I'm still good with 1957 Ambassador, and would be good w/ a "K" since it's the closest ad we have for most attributes of the watch. Could be something other than the "K" but we don't have conflicting ads stating otherwise .... I don't think we do?
