This appears to be a 1956 Bulova Ranger based on the previous attribution of this 1955 watch. https://www.mybulova.com/watches/1955-ranger-8400
It is a yellow gold case with a stainless case back with a L6 Date code. The movement is an 11AC 17J movement. It is quite a large case at 37MM x 28MM. It has a silver dial with yellow gold hour markers. The case has the engraved bezel runing on each side. Unfortunately I cannot find an ad. Just the crystal ID.
