Watch Description

I think this timepiece is a 1972 Bulova Goddess Of Time, but from the outside looking in, I can't match the exact face nor bezel/case to the watch from the reading materials/photos. I'm guessing it has a jeweled movement? On the back of the case is as follows:  10k rolled gold plate  -  Bulova  -  L5  -  serial #: n20731  -  Also, the watch has Bulova stamped into the side of the time adjustment knob. The watch was passed down from my mother, who just passed...I would like to get the face cleaned & refurbished along with the jewel movement, & potentially give it to a girlfriend/wife as a gift.

I've updated the year of your watch to 1955 based on the L5 date code. Your watch is the same as THIS watch, which we ID'd as Dolly Madison. 1953 advert is HERE. Nice keepsake from your mother.

1955 Dolly Madison "I" is a good match.  A light cleaning with warm soapy water might brighten the dial but you have to tread carefully as these dials are hard to clean without removing the finish.
