I agree with Ken and Bob, it's clearly a Bulova 23 but I'm not seeing any variant match at this time. We might also tag it a K noting a redial

Agreed a 1955 Bulova 23. Possible movement/dial swap or unknown variant.

This seems to be a black dial version of the Bulova 23 "K" from the 1955-1957 Linebook BAWD0127. I am not sure of the variant and can rule out "L" which is another model. Unknown variant but definitely most likely a factor dial / case configuration.
