I wish I had more information on this one, but I can't find anyone who will take the liability to open it up so I can get pictures and information from the inside. I'm hoping your experts see something that can help me identify a time period and maybe a model? Thank you
Nice watch, thanks for sharing. The L4 on case back dates your watch as 1954. Based on this ad, it's a
1954 Phantom that has had the original text cleaned off the dial.

Thanks, if it's good enough for Bob Hope, it's good enough for me!!!

Is the case yellow or silver in color? That will help identify the name variant letter. It appears to be yellow, in which case, with a white dial it's a "C". There were 4 variants of this one as seen below in the 1955-1957 Linebook.

Nice Phantom "C"
This is a press fit case. The bezel separates from the stainless case (with crystal and crown). You would then have to remove the crystal and the two-piece stem in order to access the movement.
It is yellow and a fitcase, yes. Thank you
1954 Bulova Phantom "C" is a good match.
Very nice. Nice ad and linebook matches Bob.
