This appears to be 1936 Phantom. It is a 10KT yellow gold filled case and matching case back. The case is the engraved version with a silver dial and 12 yellow gold applied hour markers. The movement is a 6AE 17J movement with a square date code. Referencing Sept 1936 ad showing there variants of the Phantom.
1936 Engraved version of the Phantom looks like a match.
Agreed a 1936 Bulova Phantom. The dial looks great. What type of band will you put on it?
Tan Pigskin gets my vote for the strap.

I restored so many watches lately I ran out of 14MM straps. I actually put it on the only 14MM strap I had which is a white one. I'll have to restock 14MM and 16MM straps. Have tons of smaller and larger straps but not these sizes.

A good straight mens 14mm is hard to find these days. You see lots of the ladies version that narrows. Those don't suit a mens watch or wrist IMO.
1936 Bulova Phantom nice one
