I think this is a 1954 Phantom. I'm hoping someone can tell me how to get it open. It'll run about 3 seconds if shaken and needs servicing. I can't get the back off and the crystal is such a low profile a crystal lift tool won't grab it. I see others like it on here with the back off but I can't figure out how to do it. I'll post photos of the movement if I ever get it open.
1954 Phantom "A"
These open by pushing the crystal/movement/back through the bezel from the front. Crystal press fits on the case back housing holding the movement.

I just tried pushing it out with the crystal press. I succeeded in bending the winding stem but that's all I accomplished.

Geez, I hope you didn't misinterpret my comment. The crystal is press fit attached to the case back. You press it out by pushing on the crystal, so the guts of the watch and crystal come out the back.
1954 Bulova Phantom "A"
I'm beginning to not like this "Phantom" model. I can't get into it.

Bulova made this thing child-proof.
