BXW on the movement plus L3 and 10BT. gold number on a silver dial with a sub dial. also a curved back.
The case looks similar to this one http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1953-hadley-710
It also has a 10BT (17J) movement, but the dial is different.
Check it out... Looks just like a Ruxton "A".
do you think the someone put a different crystal on mine . mine has that funny shape to it, it's not flat but pointy in the center.
The Crystal has no bearing on model ID.
2nd the 'RUXTON'
so it's a safe bet it's a RUXTON
Yes, not to worry about the variant but 'RUXTON' is a clear match: Case, Dial and Movement.
Could be the "Moonbeam" which is very similar but known to have the quadrated crystal. Depends on the year produced and the dial configuration. I'll have to dig into this a bit more to be sure one way or the other. Both are so close in design.
I was told my L1 could be a Ruxton....Take a Look.
doesnt this period Ruxton case have two indents/divits on the long side of bezel from side view? See case at http://www.mybulova.com/node/4015 sideview and possible Ruxton case ID.
well....I shoulda looked closer at ad in thread. Guess not in this case.
