Don't think it is a president model, no particular reason, just doesn't strike me as such. But it is the cmx385-10 that fits..Delegate maybe?
Perhaps?
"Delegate" could look "Gentry," as well??
:-) Scott
23 Jewel would lean toward 'PRESIDENT'
Hmmm...
21Js = a President... or something "Regal," me thinkst? (Unless solid 10+ karat gold, like the Duncan Jerin/I just ID'd...) Check out this '55 Pres Greg posted, I hadn't seen, until now:

Wonder if it's one of the other namesakes I just posted above? Or possibly the '54 President??
(Presuming the other crystal specs are a tad bit SHORT?!?)
:-) Scott
I have the same model with a 10BM dated 1952; case dated 1954. From the ads, I had narrowed it down to a Delegate or a Tank.

GOOD ONE, Lisa!
A 21J "Delegate," eh? Who'd a thought!??
And "Tank" (style) is a generic term, for a boxy timepiece, BTW... (Unless there was also a Military issued namesake, with a non round bezel ?!)

Somewhere I saw this same model labeled as "Tank", and it made me get up and write it down for this watch as an alternate to "Delegate". I went back through the ads today and could not find anything to support that. Maybe it was some nonsense I saw on eBay. If I ever figure it out, I will post. In the meantime, Delegate it is.
Here's the 1953 ad for the Delegate:

Thank you. Delegate it is. Spot on!
