1953 (L3) dated 17AH Movement in 1952 (L2) dated 10k RGP etched three-piece case. Not sure what model Bulova Pocket Watch but extremely nice watch with original gold plated chain in perfect condition. Great case, unblemished crystal, amazing hands, couple minor blemishes on dial. Pristine 17J movement keeping most excellent time.
looks like A Buckingham to me as seen in this 1949 ad.

sho is,
Nice one Mr Bruno.
looks like it's the Buckingham to me.

...or at least the engraved version of Buckingham....maybe a variant choice for which we don't have an ad. Ad shows unengraved case.
This appears to be a Buckingham "C" based on the 1957 Line Book BAWD0132 page 69 of 162. The engraved case is correct as well as the dial but the hands might have been replaced. Cannot find an ad match to the hands and dial but the hands are showing on other models of the same year same page.

Jim - there are two different watches shown, which one does the description match?
In reply to Jim - there are two… by Geoff Baker
Sorry Geoff. Missed your response. The model number is 481 which is the top one. So it looks like a Buckingham C but the hands are different.
I should add that I only found a reference to a Buckingham A, B, and C with the C being the only engraved model. Also during this period I do not find a reference to the Buckingham B until 1972 which is a different style pocket watch. I did find a Kellogg that shared the case and hands but the dial was different. It was also showing discontinued in the line book and no listed variants. I am leaning towards a Buckingham C with replaced hands.
