L3 on both caseback & movement. Notice the pitched Dauphine hands, with matching Dauphine seconds hand. The amount of wabi on this watch was phenomenal, and took 3 hours to remove, but on the upside it protected the bezel and upper surfaces from wear and they are in very good condition. Unfortunately, the caseback has a little hole and bad plate wear. The movement is in good order apart from the hairspring being bent, stopping it from working.
Wabi ?
The crud that builds up on a watch, usually a tough brown crust, made up of dead cells, sweat and dirt, best removed by removing the movement and crystal, placing the case in the mouth and sucking it like a sweet. ; )
Lmao bobbee yuck! tell me you dont do that really he he he he
Full of natural goodness! But really, don't you just love scraping that crud off, and finding a nice watch there? $33, but customs and excise nabbed another$19. :(
