Hey everyone, hoping someone might be able to help me identify the model name of this Bulova I just opened up. Here’s what I’ve got:
- Movement marked: Bulova Watch Co. USA, 17 Jewels, 10BM, FS
- Case back marked: 10K Rolled Gold Plate Bezel, Stainless Steel Back, New York
- Date code: L3 (1953)
- Case and dial are in good condition
- Currently fitted with a brown leather strap (probably not original)
It’s a beautiful piece and I’d love to know more about the specific model name or line. Any info or direction would be really appreciated.
A Bulova linebook identifies your watch as a 1953 Bulova Ambassador "B".

Great thank you! I understand it would be difficult finding an original expansion band, any ideas of where I might be able to source one?

Forgot to add, any idea of how much roughly this could be worth?
Best chance of finding a matching band is eBay and be patient, it may take a while. Sorry, we don't do appraisals - too any variables. Again, your best bet is a specific search on eBay for the watch in completed listings.

Just another question, what type of case/box would this piece have come in originally?
