Crystal catalog had this down as the "Treasure", in fact it is the "Treasurer" as can now be seen on the newly found advert card pictured below
I've been outsniped on this model, at least twice!? No crystal specs!? :-(
WST
Hopefully I should have the measurements shortly then we can do some digging
I believe this is one of the Ambassador Series or the "Treasure" model. Crystal CMX345-2F 22.4 x 19.3 is a perfect fit.
CMX337-10 22.1 x 19.1 for the Ambassador F also fits well.
That's my best guess and it soley based on the crystals that fit the bezel.
In reply to I believe this is one of the by bourg01
Hi Shawn
I agree, I have the case here now and that crystal is an exact fit. I believe this to be the Treasure, all the gold detailing on the bezel makes it fit to the name to me.
If it's "either/or..." then I concur... Although they did (also) sport 17J movements, the '50s (1952- 57?) Ambassadors were not embelished with engraved details... They rather had outrageous case designs with "flair." (i.e. the '53 +/- Pillowy "cloud fold" bezel detailing with perimeter arcs, semi- circular art moderne side wings, etc.) A "TREASURE," then... it tis!

I concour with Scott, I've never seen an Ambassador with engraving either. Looks like we may have just identified another long lost Bully. It's a shame there isn't much in the way of advertising from the 50's but if we all keep plugging away, there's always going to be hope for the rest that remain a ??.
Regards Shawn
So some time has elapased, have we "Decided" if this watch is a "Treasure" or "Treasurer"??? I would personally like to know as I just p/u one of these off our favorite auction site.
