Watch Description

1952 Bulova 17 Jewel watch with a Swiss movement.  I think it’s an Ambassador.  Original Speidel stretch band.  Both watch and band are 10k RGP.

Nice one. Case shape/lugs aren't quite right to be an Ambassador. I believe it's a

1952 Kirk

1954 Kirk ad

Band is a slightly newer replacement. I believe Speidel was issued the patent for "twist-o-flex" in 1959. Original band would have been like the one in the ad, a "scissor" style.

I'd agree with Kirk model; like this one.

Okay, thank y’all.  It was a neat find at an antique store.  Wasn’t very expensive.  I picked it up and wound it, like all Bulova, it ran, you can’t kill those things.  I’ve been wearing it and it keeps excellent time.
