Bulova 1951 His Excellency

I believe this is an Excellency made in 1951 as it has L1 on the back of the case. Not sure of the variant but it might be UU just from looking at pictures. The hands and numbers are gold in color. I found this watch in my grandfathers stuff after my father passed. It curently does not work and is not any kind of family piece. Based on things my grandfather did it is probably more of a collection of someone who did not repay a loan. Wonder if it is worth fixing or is worth anything.
