Appears to be an "His Excellency UU". Case and movement have date stamp LO. Came with vintage Bulova box.
Agree, HE "UU"

Case and dial look to be the HE "UU". Not sure the 8AD came in 21 jewel, or would fit this case that typically uses a 7AK. Need to see movement and back of case photos.

Definately marked 21 jewel 8AD with date stamp "LO"
8AD record in movement database showing 1950 21 jewel example. I don't know if 8AD would fit subject watch case?
I've added another picture of the watch disassembled showing the movement.
His Excellency "UU" from me. Good job on the photos and ID call PJ! ...and a great watch!
Excellency UU
It's got a 20 jewel 8AD movement.
Hello PJ, welcome to myBulova. A very nice watch, I would say the clam shell display case is of the correct era for your watch, perhaps original. Don't see too may with Canada markings, a couple of our members hail from Canada.
I think it's an His Excellency UU model too
Thanks for the welcome Geoff.
Great site. It helped identify my 1929 unknown. Well, actually, helped me identify it as not being identified just yet : )
Have started a small collection of vintage watches. Have a few Bulova yet to post on the site.
Interesting seeing Bulova marketing here in Canada with "Canadas finest timepiece".
