Hi all I have just received this watch today, looking through the db I think it may be a 1949 Princeton or H Excellency AA ? judging by its very distinctive lugs. the watch is 30.5 mm in dia excluding the crown or lugs and is marked 10k gold filled, Bulova. and has the serial number 973990. the inside of the case is marked Bulova Fifth Avenue New York. The movement is a 21 Jewelled 10BH . and is marked with number 48 The band is an after market and is not the original. I would greatly appreciate any members comments re its identity
I inclined to HE "AA", Princeton is just a bit different dial

1946 Ad used in one of Fifth's watch records. There's some discussion of Princton possibly morphing into HE AA in 1947? The ad above is for "Yellow Gold", as is the linked watch example.
Looks like the HE "AA", dial on Princeton only has even numerals and the hands are different; cases look very similar.
Good ad pickup Ken, HE 'AA' for me too.
Yes looking at the minute and hour hands it does look more like a H. E. AA
The case is actually in much better condition than my pictures show. Its a nice bright yellow gold with no wear through
I would agree that it's His Excellency AA, a beauty it is!
HE AA from me. Nice one w/ no wear/brassing on case.
