14K Gold 1948 Bulova - From what I could gather it appears to be a Patriot model.
Dial, case and movement are in pretty remarkable condition for the age, however it is not currently running and I believe needs a new mainspring. Case measures out to about 31.75 mm lug to lug, and 20.5 mm wide.
Looking to sell this. Watch is in great condition for age, not currently running though. Movement is in good condition but mainspring appears to be slipping and needs to be rewound/replaced. Comes with brand new black leather strap with gold (not 14K) buckle.

1949 Patriot is a good call based on the case s/n starting with a "9"..
1949 Bulova Patriot looks to be a good match.
