Hello. This watch was left to me by my grandfather. With a little research, mostly from this site. Thanks. I think it may be a 1940's tuxedo. It still works. He wasn't a flashy guy so he didn't wear it much. Let me know what you think and any additional information you can. The clasp on the bracelet says Kreisler 14k U.S.A. The back of the watch says 14K GOLD Bulova
Thanks - Joe
Best offer. Selling the watch to help pay for a family trip to Disney. The watch is in great condition. Original. I'm not in a rush to sell it, so I will be taking offers. Hopefully it can find its way to a collector who will really enjoy it. Thanks for looking.
Is the Watch and Bracelet solid 14 karat gold or gold filled?
I'm sorry. I forgot to add the other two images:
The clasp on the bracelet says Kreisler 14k U.S.A.
The back of the watch says 14K GOLD Bulova

Fantastic, those two elements alone confirm that your watch is a 1946 Bulova Tuxedo.
I dare to say that this watch would be on most collectors bucket list.
Thank you. I knew it was a very nice watch and your site has helped me narrow it down. I'm impressed how close I came. My grandfather loved owning it but not wearing it. He showed it to me a few times and told me it was gold, expensive, and beautiful, but wasn't really his style. Not sure where or when he got it. He never mentioned it. Do you have any suggestions. I have read on this site to bring it to a trusted watch person to open and maybe take pictures. Not sure if I know of any.
14KT gold makes it a 1946 Bulova Tuxedo. Awesome to have the gold bracelet.
14k Tuxedo... very nice and original
1946 Bulova Tuxedo. What a wonderful heirloom, congrats on having it.
Thank you. I do enjoy it. Albeit not as much as the good people on this forum. I rarely take it out of my safe. Thanks again. I really appreciate all of your time. If I do bring it to be opened I will take pictures and post them.
I finally brought the Tuxedo to a local jewler to open for some pictures. Thanks for looking.
