1946 Bulova Treasurer
Case is 10KT Yellow Gold Filled, s/n beginning with 6, the sides are a satin finish with the lugs and caseback outer area being polished; caseback is a snap-fit with Bulova Fifth Avenue engraved inside; movement is a 21-jewel 10AK with the square symbol dating to 1946; butler finish dial with gilt hands and markers; plain gold crown; missing the original basket-weave band.
Ads in 1946 show this as the Treasurer (ad1 ad2); looks to be re-named the His Excellency in 1947, as did many other models (1947 ad)
Glass crystal is 26.4mm, with some deep scratches - if anyone has a NOS replacement I am interested.
That is one very clean movement Andersok. It doesn't look like a screwdriver has ever touched it.
Everything is clean on that beauty.
1946 Treasurer!!!
