any real knowledge on how to decypher the array of nomenclatures on these vintage Military casebacks is challenging to find.

SPEC. NO. 94-27834-C was approved for use in Sept of 1944.

SERIEL NO. beginning AF-46 suggests a 1946 manufacture date which coincides with the inner caseback seriel number beginning in 6
