It was sold to me as a 1943, but the movement is marked with a circle for 1944. Of course, it could be a replacement, but I'm unsure of how else to date this one. The case looks to be chromium plated brass, but I'm not 100% sure. It's in very good condition for it's age. Was told that is was recently serviced and it certainly seems it. The 10AKCSH movement runs and winds very smoothly, looks very clean, and hacks nicely. It's a great little watch and I'm proud to be a part of it's history!

It does look clean, these cases are indeed chrome plated brass, (The back will be steel) and many got destroyed over the years. I would say that is a re-dial, I had one recently in my shop, and original dials are always very dark, and usually burned with Radium, if there is any.

I've read that some A-11s had Radium and some did not. On other Radium watches I have there's usually a very faint blue glow after shining a bright light on it, and this watch doesn't seem to show that. The dial does certainly seem very clean for it's age and I believe you're likely right about it being a re-dial, though it seems to have been very well done.
