Vintage Bulova with Serial Number. Looks to be early 1900's. No known history. I can't find a way to open the watch without possibly damaging the case. Any help in identifying it is appreciated.
Note: I am guessing at the manufacture date as it seems I can't post without a date
Your Bulova watch was manufacturered in:
1926, 1936, 1946
Please note that we returned multiple years for the serial number you provided, this is because Bulova's serial numbers before 1950 are only accurate to a decade. Pick the year that makes the most sense for your watch.
Stylistically this is a 1946 model. In researching this it appears to be a 1946 Bulova Dolly Madison "R"

That does indeed look very similar. The watchband (if that's the right word) is different however. Did that model have a different option for the band? The one stretches out quite a bit.
Thank you for responding
I think Jim has correctly ID this watch as a 1946 Bulova Dolly Madison "R".
Watch bands/straps were often changed and sometimes chosen at the point of sale. The ID of this watch is not effected by it having a different band than shown in the advert, which may or may not be original to your watch.
1946 Bulova Dolly Madison R is a good match
