I finally snagged one of these in a lot. I offered $100 and thr seller took it. No pic of the back but I've been on the lookout for awhile.
White 14K Solid Gold.
So... is it the 1946 Bulova Beau Brummell or the 1946 Lord Springfield? We have ads for both model names featuring this watch from that year.
It cleaned up nicely...
It always amazes me how you can 'smell' solid gold through a computer screen.
So advert wise we have these:
1947 Beau Brummel
1948 Lord Springfield
1945 Beau Brummel (note: I think the 21J might be a typo)
I'm heavily leaning towards a 1946 Bulova Beau Brummel
I wonder, is the black dial the Beau Brummell and the white dial the Lord Springfield?
This is one gorgeous watch!! Since we have the black dial ad for Beau Brummell I am leading that way as well.
1946 Bulova Beau Brummell
second track is different, maybe a repaint on dial ??? but it look original. so hard to find a match sometimes
1946 Bulova Beau Brummell is good to me. From the view of the dial at an angle I am seeing texture that leads me to believe the dial might have been repainted;
