This watch was found in a 'lot' in unrecognizable condition. 

Purchased for the case only upon receipt I was pleasantly (somewhat) surprised to find a matching date coded 16J 10AKCSH movement with a broken balance and broken mainspring. 

The main images are of the watch after replacing the balance, mainspring, dial, hands and crown, (it currently needs a crystal that fits)  

The watch keeps perfect time...

So the subject watch was purchased as shown in the above photo with the white non-Bulova dial?

So a 1944 Bulova Military Issue A-11 is the ID?
