In yellow it's the Stamford but I do recall Lisa doing some research showing the pink/rose to be named otherwise. I just can't remember the model now.
Leuitenant maybe?
The case is Red Gold so according to the 1942 add it is a Alderman.
Despite the bad eyesight I was able to find it and read that in the ad. Thx
15 jewel mvnt vs 17 in both 1942 ads. I see alderman watch records w/ 15j, 17j, and 21j. ?
War year watch if USA made. Swiss (BXW) on 15 jewel mvnt. Curious about "sterling base" if USA case. Maybe the 15 jewel "Alderman" w/ Swiss mvnts don't have war year "sterling base" and could have been something other than Alderman. The 17 jewel Alderman that match the two ads are USA made "Sterling base" cases and house USA mvnt.
Spiro-Any chance for a pic of the inside case back?
One tick unconfirmed from me. Jewel count doesn't match the two ads on site.
This case configuration:
Yellow Gold 17 J = Stamford
Red Gold 17 J = Alderman
Red Gold 15 J = Aviator
1944 Aviator

Great summary!
I'm in for Avaitor with the corresponding 15J movement.
Aviator is a good choice
Aviator works for me.
