Preliminarily I'm calling this a Conrad.
The case is marked "Bulova New York". It 14K rolled gold. It has an 1943, 17 jewel 8AH which is consistent with some of the Conrads in the database (some are 8AE). It runs.
The date code was tough to see on this thing and, oddly, it wasn't apparent that it was an 'X' until I took the picture. For some reason that brought it out. I'll have to remember that trick.
