Found the other day in an antique store.... needs a redial, but the case was excellent under all that black tarnish. 17 Jewel, 10BA movement runs when shaken but will need a cleaning/servicing.

The 1942- 43 (+?) "Brewster," eh? (LOOks like it?!)
I thought that YGF (not pink/rose GF) was (as par) more common, at least for the (full sized) version? (There's ALSO a smaller one!) If so... then it should spec. out at:

As I recall, there are (4 or 5) Brewsters!? (Plus the "baby" version...) I have glass+ for all, I believe???
And I think you also uploaded (or sent me?) this 1942 ad???

Cosmetically... the (early 40s) Attorney has a "2- step" down in the case terracing... vs. three tighter bands (similar rise and fall) steps, on the Brewster...
And Bulova may well have spec'd. different 17J movements?
Also, the 40s Attorney and Emperor both take almost the same glass, as this version of the Brewster... And therefore might even take the same Plexi... since acrylic crystals will flex, slightly?

I'm having trouble with the fact that we don't have an ad showing the Brewster in yellow gold. All the ads list it as red gold.
There are at least five different models from the early '40s that have a very similar case: 1) Attorney, 2) Brewster, 3) Galahad, 4) Emporer, and 5) Jefferson. Dates range from 1941 through 1943. Of those, the Galahad (engraved bezel, 21J), Emperor (jewel count not listed), and Jefferson (21J) are advertised in yellow gold. One ad lists the Attorney as yellow gold, but, frankly, I think that's an error in the ad, and this is not the Attorney case anyway.
'BREWSTER' advertisement states: 14K ROSE RGP.
'ATTORNEY' advertisement states: 10K YELLOW RGP.

That's the ad that I think is in error. Every other ad lists the Attorney as red gold only. Also, the attorney case is shaped differently than this one. The "folds" on the ends are different.
