1942 "One-Button Chronograph", probably used by the Medical /Military.
Missing the chrono-sweep hand.
Thanks to daca for the crown, and to JP for the hands, great stuff. :-)

Oh very nice, I really hope you can track down that second hand!!
Chronograph it is.
Yeah, that would put it over the top.
Chronograph, very nice condition.
Sweet! Chronograph it is. Now we gotta find you a sweep hand to complete the package.
Thanks guys.

What's the size, looks like 18 - 20 but I can't tell from the pics to be sure enough to start looking for one.
Does not appear to be interchangeable but I have to find my other parts guide to be sure.
I am going to send you a sweep second hand between two business cards in a regular emvelope so look for a regular post. NO freight charge that way and it works real well. That particular watch takes the black hand if I remember correctly.

Thanks guys, the hand is a blue fils from the look of them on the others I've seen, but the only info regarding the 10AH sweep second hand is in the 1955 catalogue of interchangeable parts, as there is no mention of the sweep second hand in the 1954 hands booklet. The info on p.24 for the sweep hand just says "10AH".
No idea of the tube height or diameter, or the length.
I know that the post for it looks very short, any seconds hands that I have tried do not fit, but they were non-Bulova as I am loath to remove any from the Bulovas I have.
Just wondering how you determine the date of manufacture since there appears to be no serial number on the movement, just the case. Seems everyone thinks early 1940's?

Bulova watches are not dated using their movement serial number necessarily. The movement in this case is stamped with a 1942 date code.
