EDIT 2012.11.26 Jewel count in root record changed from 17 (typo?) to 15 based on movement pics in record.
Can you post a pic of the case back as well?
I would say the correct year is 1942 not '32, and it looks like the Cadet/Ranger/Lieutenant.
I agree Old Ticker, Ranger was the unengraved yellow case. Hands shown are Dauphine-Should be Modern, second hand is missing. Color determines the name of the watch in this case. Raijin, your watch case appears to be yellow in your pictures, therefore it would be a Ranger. Also you have the the movement listed above as 7 jewels, it should be corrected to 17.

It is a 15J movement Wayne.
Hands look to have been replaced, but it ceratinly looks like a Ranger.
Also crystal shape in Tonneau.

it does look like the ranger case, but Ranger 15 jewel, subject watch 17 jewel.
Movement pic clearly shows 15 jewels. Root record lists as 17 jewels. I'll change root record jewel count from 17 to 15, assuming it's a typo.
'RANGER'
The description says rose gold case. The Ranger was yellow gold I think. Look at this ad from around this time period. Not exactly sure of the ad date but it's somewhere between 1941-44.
The Ranger has lugs that pretty much align with the edge of the case. Whereas the Envoy has lugs that potrude away from the case.
It would appear that the Ranger came in a few versions during the years 1940 and 1941 which is not helping our cause to ID these watches.
