Very very similar to the Banker from the previous couple of years other than the seconds dial has more numbering.

Looking at the ads we have available today, this matches the 1940 ad for the Ranger but not the 1941. Could this be a ‘40 with a movement swap?

I’m confused about the 1941 Ranger ads. I did find this model in an ad identified as a 1941 as but there is another 1941 ad showing the ranger as a yellow gold version of that 1941 Lieutenant which is significantly different. I’m guessing 1941 was a transitional year between the two styles for the Ranger name.
