Hello,  I have this watch in very rough shape and would like to try and find some information about it.  Like what age it is from ?  is it repairable?  Anything would be appreciated.  Says 10k gold - Numbers on the back are 1658190

Based on case s/n, your watch is a 1941. It's gold filled, which means it's gold plated over a base metal. Seeing a clear photo of the movement would be a great help, but my initial guess is that it is a

1941 Ambassador "D".

Based on the lugs and bracelet I would agree with an 1941 Bulova Ambassadore "D" (engraved).

tiitle of this watch is misdated! iys not 1940, its a 1941......
