This case was discussed on the forum with a movement in it and is almost identical to that one with the exception of the lack of an engraved line around each lug near the end, otherwise it is identical. The back is signed on the inside and outside and is marked 10k gold filled and the back is all gold filled on the outside. The reciever for the movement on the inside of the back is round and the case is slightly curved. The distance between the lugs on each end is 9.50mm. The bracelet is probably original and is marked Krestenmade and is 1/20 10k gold filled as well.
This case is just too beautiful to not get the correct movement put in it and I'm not into creating a frankenbully.
Please contact me by PM if you need to.
I am not sure about the year since there is no date code and no movement to go by.
Sorry about the bad photos but I am still experimenting with lighting and trying to learn how to use this *&$##* camera.
For some help on taking great pictures of your watches, Check out this post...
1941 and the Case looks like the 'AMBASSADOR'.

Tickers' 1939 'AMBASSADOR' above.
21 Jewel 10AE.
Thanks Fifth. I really do appreciate it. I will be looking for a 21 Jewel 10AE movement now to try to put this baby in a happy mood.
You'll need one with the * Datecode.
Good luck!
Any one out there with a 21 Jewel 10AE movement with the date code of 1941 that might want to talk to me??

Hello JP,
I have the Ambassador in near Mint condition; no wear even under magnification. it does have its ORIGINAL Running 21J 10AX Calibre movement, with its Omega code housed in the case # 0212869, along with B-10K gold filled on the back of the case. It has a glass crystal with a chip in the upper left corner, so I will be looking for a glass crystal. The Original MINT conditioned link bracelet id from JB 1/20TH 12K gold filled.
Not sure what else I can tell you about it... I have Beautiful images of this watch and love to include a couple but I keep them in my photos and don't have a URL link to them? Plus I just signed up to Bulova Watches just a Day ago! Rob
Now it has the correct back in the photo. Sorry about that.
Whoops I goofed and erased the right back which was on here to begin with. Boy I must need to go to bed and get some sleep.
Did we ever establish the difference between the cases of the following three watches?
- Ambassador
- Lone Eagle
- Engineer
Different aspects included:
- case size
- crystal dimensions
- case back, gold filled versus stainless steel
- jewel count
Was there anything else to distinguish between the 3 models?
