Curved shape, Omega date mark (1940), bought 1999 in Palo Alto, CA for $250. "B-10K Gold Fill" on case.
Watch has a white face, appears yellow through amber crystal. Watch is 9.5/10 functional and aesthetic condition. Crystal size is an exact match for MX432, which corresponds to the "Palm Beach", the original designation of this watch.
However, in August, 2012, an ad surfaced which almost certainly demonstrates that this watch is the 1939 Marshall model.
Pix of the movement and inner case are available in the comments section.
Many heartfelt thanks to the denizens of MyBulova, who generously shared their time and expertise to help ID this watch!
EDIT 2012.08.09. Changed from 1939 Palm Beach to 1940 Marshall by request of owner. Will Smith
I would be greatly appreciative of any information that would help me identify this watch. Thanks! Noah
Noah,
Is the Caseback stamped inside?
In reply to Noah, Is the Caseback stamped by FifthAvenueRes…
Yes, it is. Please see additional pix and info added on second page of comments. Thanks! N

Check out 1938 ad Number 2, middle column, third watch up from the bottom may be a match. I can't read the name, but it appears to have a bezel similar to your watch.

Def redial (or NOS), almost zero wear, just two tiny spots of rub. NIce looking watch...
Looks a lot like a "President" with out the engraving along the side. They changed the style of the case in 41'. Do you have a picture of the back of the movement??

Yea but its diff 12 and 6 to the end of the bezel ...
Noah,
It looks to be a redialed 1938 "Minute Man?"
Is this in fact a 21J movement? Or might it rather be 17 Jewels??
I'd wager either 1937, or 1938? Got the approx. crystal proportions, in mm??
A near straight on profile view and certainly a movement pic, would also be useful...
