This watch does look similar to a Minute Man model. The dial is different from the ads I've seen. It does not look like it has been refinished. Enclosed is a picture.
do you have any pictures from the side ??
...and maybe some case measurements? Please and Thanks
Marshall.
With an incorrect redial done some time in the past.
The darned Marshall ad bobbee links above was hosted on ImageShack and is now gone...but I think we have another ad on site.

...and I'm trying to remember the difference between Marshall and Admiral... and Montgomery from this general time period.
1939 Ad above.
Hi timekeeper, welcome back.
I'm inclined to go with the Marshall ID as well. The dial isn't original but I still think it is Marshall.
Agree with Marshall
Looks like Marshall to me too.
Thanks for all of your help. I agree it does look like the Marshall in the ad above. It is a curved case and it is about 2 inches long overall. This is a watch that belongs to a good friend. I have serviced ti for him, and return to him, or I woud send some more pictures.
Thanks again for all the help.
