Not clear on manufacture year. This was my mother’s watch so guessing between 1930s-1940s.
The watch works
14k on back and 816318
Diamond chips
Pristine condition
Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your mother's watch with us. It is a beautiful heirloom!!
Can you confirm how many diamonds are on the watch for us please? This might help us narrow the ID down. I am going to guess the year at 1938. If you get a photo of the movement please share it with us and that will help confirm the year.
It might be a Beverly

The diamonds won't be chips, but full diamonds. Bulova didn't use chips in their watches.
If it has 18 diamonds it might also be the Helena. This a 1939 advert.
20 diamonds the Beverly.

Thanks to all.
Looking more closely I see that there are 20 diamonds.
Beverly it is💥
I appreciate your assistance in helping me figure this out. The pictures helped tremendously.
Does anyone have another picture of Beverly aside from the one shown above.
Thanks again,
Gayle
With 20 diamonds I will say Beverly.
Based on owner diamond count:
1940 Beverly
Looks to be a match
1940 Bulova Beverly
Good morning,
One more question and excuse me if my terminology isn’t correct.
Local jeweler said the “bezel” was stainless. Can you confirm if the case and bezel are 14k white gold.
If I’m correct is the bezel the area containing the diamonds.

You are correct, the bezel is the portion of the watch front surrounding the dial and face AND holding the diamonds. I would be surprised if it was anything other than the same gold content of the case and back. What he told you does NOT make sense to me.

I agree, the entire case, front (bezel) and back will be 14K solid white gold. Get a new jeweller :-)
