Purchased online. This ladies watch has a 10 Rolled Gold Plate case and 10 rolled gold plated top of bracelet. The photos do not give the beauty justice.
Shield on movement that lacks a s/n; and outside 7 digit s/n starting with a "9" indicates the watch is a 1939.

Agree on Geraldine. As Neetstuf-4-u said the first digit of the serial number indicates the year in the 30's. The movement codes can be the same for the 20's/30's/40's so we have to go by the style of the watch to send us in the correct direction to find a model in the right decade.
