Watch Description

This watch was my grandmother’s - it does work. She was born in 1902. Her initials before her marriage are on the back. Other numbers from the inside - 31592, 5AP or SAP? Two 2 ADJ? We are unsure if the last number of the serial number we think a 6. Or a C? Patent June 20, 1924. It is stamped 14k.

Dear kmrkupiec, your watch is the Geraldine from 1926. Beautiful watch with intricate engraving. The last digit is a 0. I changed the listing already.

That's a great watch to have if your Grandmother's.  I agree it's the "Geraldine".  I wonder if she got it as a gift?  Did she save up and get it for herself?  I love thinking about the history on these.

Welcome to myBulova and thank you for sharing your grandmother's watch with us.  What a beautiful heirloom to have and with her initials is very special.  My grandmother's graduation watch is what started me collecting.  Yours is very nice being solid 14k.  It would be a 5AP movement model with 2 adjustments.  I agree with Alex that the last digit in the case serial number is a 0.
