This looks like at 1938 Minuteman. It has a 10KT Yellow Gold filled case that measures 43MM x 22MM and shows no engraving. The movement is a 7AP 17J with a crescent moon date code. The dial is white with applied yellow gold hour markers and hands. It appears to have the original leather strap. The crystal is ill fitting and I need to order a new one.
Band could very well be the original based on obvious age and ad. Nice!

Certainly looks like a Bulova Minute Man "C" (non engraved version), but the dial looks a little off. Is that the case or is it just me?

It’s the Crystal. It is a wrong Crystal with a tapered end causing an illusion .
