Watch Description

Your assistance is greatly appreciated, as always. Thank you in advance for any information.  We have had this watch in our collection for many years.
1938 Elongated case, similar to the 1938 Broadcaster, but the case is not etched, nor does the inset second hand have numbers. I have seen comments regarding the mysterious "1938 Time King", could this be one?

The dial looks in amazing condition that I might have expected a redia, but I'm nit seeing the typical V notch to indicate one.

I'm certainly leaning towards a non-engaved version of a 1938 Bulova Broadcaster. It's the lugs and 21J that are key to this ID.

Thank you for taking a look. The inset second hand is different from the 38 Broadcaster, would that be significant enough to indicate that it is a different model?

1938 Bulova Broadcaster looks like a good ID to me.
