Here is a unique little 1937 ladies watch. It is much smaller than I expected it to be with the case being smaller than a dime. The lugs are unique in how the band is attached. If this band breaks I will probably have to custom make one with a cord band.
It has a 10K gold filled case with a 1937 serial number and signed Bulova and shield. It has a 6AL 17 jewel working movement date stamped 1937 as well. The inside of the case is signed Bulova Fifth Ave New York. I haven't found an ad for it yet.
It is not smaller than some of my other ladies watches but to me appears larger in the photos than it is. Here is a size comparison shot next to a dime.

Wow. That is really cool and one I have certainly never encountered. The band is pretty amazing as well. I did a preliminary ad search and come up empty. As of right now I'm at unknown, but still looking.
Congrats, what a great score!

Thanks Bob! I couldn't find an ad either but it was too different to pass up : )
I almost bid on that one, really different design.
Never seen it but very unusual and nice!
Wow, what a cool little watch! I'm curious to know how the the cords are attached to the knobs that secure them ( DON'T TRY TO REMOVE THEM TO ANSWER MY QUESTION, I'm just curious). It's going into the Unknown category but I hope we can wait a week or so to give me a chance to look at it.
PS - I would have it serviced and wear it, it's a great watch.

Thank you Geoff! I am not sure how the knobs attach to the cord on the lug end. It is just a tad too tight for me to put on. I will have to see if one of my other deployment clasps will give it enough room to go over my hand. It is very close but I don't want to force it.

The knobs are welded on. You remove the hinged clip on the clasp end holding the two ends together and they should slide out and you should be able to pull the knobs and snake the bracelet thru the bezel holder. Similar to a cord bracelet.
WOOHOO. FINALLY FOUND THIS ONE.
