I've changed the date to 1937.
I believe your watch is a 1937 Lady Bulova. There are "A" and "C" variants for a cord and metal bands. Giving a generic model ID for the case only.

Consider the 1938 Bulova "American Girl" also. The lugs look like a close match, it has a 17 jewel movement and the case is gold filled.
