1937 by the movement date code. Not a lot of watches in our DB that utilize the 3AL. I don't recall seeing this one before. It has no bracelet, but I'm thinking it likely was a silk cord type, possibly a small chain link type. No markings on the inner caseback, apart from the usual spidery watchmaker's marks.
Stab in the dark at a Bulova 1937 Debutante :-)

Another advert showing the Bulova Debutante

....and one more....

Excellent ad finds!
1937 Debutante gets my vote.
Ha Ha - you had me at the FIRST advert! 1937 Bulova Debutante, cool looking watch

:-) I kept on finding better adverts.
1937 Bulova Debutante looks to be a good match
Debutante she is, but I must say the illustrations don't capture the look very well. It's a slender, very deco looking watch, not as extremely curved as in the first advert, but also not as flat looking as the last. That last one has the sides looking very curved, and they are not.
1937 Debutante, minus the very distinctive looking bracelet.
