Tentatively identifying this as a Dauphine. Movement is a 1937 17 J 6AZ consistent with the ad. It runs and keeps time. Case is marked Bulova Fifth Ave New York on the inside. Its 10 K rolled yellow gold. The crown is signed. The outside of the case back is marked "Bulova" with a strange upside down square shield symbol I've never seen before.
Here anthor 1940 advert showing the watch

Full 1936 advert referenced above showing the Bulova Dauphine.
It's amazing to see the various designs the Bulova Dauphine was given over the decades. Doing a search for 'Dauphine' brings up 5 different designs (including this new one) from 1928 to 1948.
And another new advert I've just found from 1937 showing the Bulova Dauphine

Those ads are much better. I must have missed them.
Very nice! I agree,
1936 Dauphine
Very similar to but smaller than several of the men's watches of the same time period.
Nice one!
