Hi all just purchased this ambassador1934 l hope its as good as it looks, when l get it.
Hi George, is there a serial number inside the case back?
It should be a 7-digit s.n.
Ambassador.
Date mark is a circle, not a triangle.

Looks like Ambassador to me check 1935 ad looks same as subject watch. 2nd watch from left.
Ambassador. Now I'm trying to remember if the White RGP has a different variant letter than the Yellow RGP model. I see a big price difference in that ad...but don't know if each had it's own variant for this watch/time period.
Another dandy watch George.
Ambassador
Hi bobbee
If you look down by the regulator arm there seems to be what looks like a triangle etched thats why l put that on the info . But l will take a closer look once l receive the watch and the same where the number is on the inside of the case
Regards george
Hi George, I think that is just scratches as I've not seen a datemark on the balance cock before.
Circle stamp is in the usual place, between the stem detent screw and the first (left) barrel bridge screw.
Cool watch.
Bob.
Ok bob
It just looked like a triangle and l thought the circle looked to sharp .
No worries bud.
I bet you can't wait to get your sweaty mitts on it! :-)
Certainly does look like a 1935 triangle date code also on the balance cock. So we have a 1934/35 movement in a 1936 case. Ambassador is the model, but what year to date this beauty.... 1936?
