Should be easy confirmation of ID since there are a couple additional 1935 Commodore's on the list. thjis is a 10k White Gold Plate model. It has the same matching original band. The 15J 10AN moevement is super-clean and with servicing its running on time and strong. Interestingly it has a lower jewel cap for the escape wheel which I never see on a 15J movement before. The dial is dirty but has nice raised numbers and excellent sub-second register and very good outer track. I might consider getting it refinsihed later but I hope it doesn't turn out like the other Commodore listed with no numbers in the sub-second register. The case and strap are in near perfect condition. Good watch but I think paid too much for it...but considering its excellent condition and originality I guess I can live without the hundred dollars :-)
Very nice! I don't think you paid too much at all. 3 ticks Commodore.

Typed too soon. The linked ad shows a plain bezel, not engraved like the subject watch.
I was wondering who snagged that one!!
You are lucky that I was watching a couple of other watches or that total might have gone higher.
The case and complete original band are just excellent and what caught my eye when it listed.
Sweet! A bit of soapy water with either vinegar or lemon juice in it should clean that dial some.
Two ticks Commodore, really need an ad.
Beautiful Commodore from me. Two ticks because we just don't have an engraved ad yet...
Great matching bracelet. Plains unengraved case/bracelet looks very similar to yours sans engraving, in yellow. and with slightly different numbers on dial.
Yeah, I almost jumped into the bid war too.....That's a great watch DW. I think I'm in with a Commodore vote too.
tentative 'COMMODORE', this model is yet to be shown advertised with an engraved bezel.
November 1935 ad, from the Utica Observer Dispatch.
The resolution sucks, but you can see there are two distinct models, the plain dial Commodore at the top, and the engraved further down, and the blurb states "Commodore, engraved, 15 jewels".

The one at the top looks like Painsman's. It just says, "15-Jewel Bulova...New...Different...and Good Looking." Do we know it's a Commodore too? I think this Ad clears up the engraved model IDs however. Thanks Bobbee! DW

You're welcome, DW.
The top one is the plain-cased model, believe me I've gone through literally hundreds of ads with this model in, looking for the engraved one!
That ad says it all, Commodore from me. Very nice watch and worth every penny.
