The tonneau shaped CASE measures 35mm lug tip to tip and 24mm excluding the crown. The case serial number is stamped to the outside of the case which causes me some concern about its manufacture date. The DIAL is matt silver and is funished with radium stylee numerals and a black printed inner minute track and sub seconds dial almost obliterating the 6.There is no dust shield which suggeststo me that the movement could be towards the end of its run.
Is there any other case markings on the inside.
Seems that we have a 1934/35 American Eagle with a 1929 movement, dial and hands...thus Non-Conforming
I would guess we don't see a dust-tite patent date on inside case back. Agree it would be non-conforming, unless we are ID'ing the case, which is how I based my two ticks tentative for American Eagle.
Revisiting this watch. I suspect there is another serial number on the inside case that will match the 1929 movement.
The watch just feels earlier than 1935 and 1929 seems about right.
