Looks like a triangle on the movement - maybe 1945? I believe that this is an Ambassador. The lug width is 12-13 mm. I know that watches were smaller in the early years. To me the case is clearly a mens watch but the narrow lug width makes the strap look more like a ladies. There were no marking on the inside of the case. The picture is not good (in fact, none are that good) but i included it. Looking forward to your comments.
Your watch is a 1935 Ambassador like this one https://mybulova.com/watches/1933-ambassador-10730. I have updated the date for you. The mens watches were on the small side in this era.
1935 Bulova Ambassador
1935 Ambassador gets my vote.
The ambassador is a 15 Jewel movement which I believe this movement is but is missed classified as a 17J on the top. 1935 Bulova Ambassador

agreed. Fixed it.
I looked more closely at the movement and it is 15 jewels, 10AE. Thanks for correcting.
